The Other Room

Coming from someone that loves speakeasy’s and amazing libations this is a must visit. We showed up as a group of 5 on Friday night and while the place isn’t very big they were able to get us in right away. From the moment you walk up to the door to the moment we walked in the atmosphere was unmatched. We all got different drinks and every single one was excellent. Even the bartender walked around asking everyone if they were enjoying their drinks or needed anything. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Lincoln!

Great place for date night. We came in to grab one of their delicious cocktails, ended up having a few. They offer non-alcoholic variants! Quick, friendly, knowledgeable service (no food, but I didn’t want to give them anything other that 5 stars)

We love The Other Room. We live five hours away and still make it a priority to stop by The Other Room any time we are in Lincoln (2-3 times per year). The drink menus are always very thoughtfully designed and the drink profiles are creative and sophisticated. The staff are continuously cool and we’ve often met great people while hanging out there. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience!! The cocktails are amazing! The Godzilla cocktail is the best lychee cocktail I had.. by far!! Atmosphere is very cozy, secret and small so if you want a GREAT cocktail and great service this is your place. Don’t miss it!!

We went here for a drink before dinner. We arrived right at 5:00 so no wait. Super cool, chill vibe. It's very small, but that's part of the fun. It looks like an old library inside. They ask you to speak in "inside voices" and keep phones on silent and it's so nice to be able to talk and have a drink in a place that's not really loud. Unique strong drinks, and the service is great. Highly recommend you give it a try!

I mean, where you start. The atmosphere, the service, the cocktails.... everything here is just on point. We go to a lot of cocktail rooms around the country and this is one of the best for sure. The interior is so good and we had such a nice time with Steve our bartender talking about life and cocktails. If you are looking for top cocktail experiences in the US... apparently you need to be going to Lincoln, NE.

My first trip to the other room on Saturday evening. The server immediately came out to tell us they were full and it would be a little bit before they had room. A few minute wait time which was perfectly fine. There’s a nice patio area where we waited. About 10-15 minutes later we were at our table. Ambiance was excellent, super chill and not overwhelming. We ordered our drinks and they came. Upon my first sip I knew I made a mistake. It was strong and likely meant for someone who has a taste for the notes and hints within liquor. I don’t have such a palate. In the past, bartenders have been offended if I’ve said I didn’t like my drink so I was nervous about saying something but I knew I couldn’t finish it. We talked with the server first who was so kind. Told us we ordered 2 of the booziest drinks they serve and they’re happy we told them they weren’t for us. The bartender came to our table to ask what flavors we enjoy. She said she did not want to water our current drinks down because she wanted us to enjoy them. She made us 2 new drinks which were FANTASTIC. She nailed them based on what we said we like. When we left both the server and the bartender thanked us for telling them and let us know how important it is to them for patrons to enjoy their experiences. Needless to say the service was impeccable. I wish I would have taken photos of the replacement drinks. These are the first 2. I’ll definitely be back.

The bartenders really know their stuff, but they keep it super chill and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can confidently try something new and know it’ll hit.
